Pre-professional B.A. in Acting (click for a tentative four year plan)

The Acting Track provides an intense actor training which combines in-depth classroom instruction with extensive production work. Courses in acting, voice, movement, and dance as well as script analysis and dramatic literature are integral parts of the program at all four levels. The acting sequence introduces majors to traditional and contemporary acting theories, variety or performance styles, and a broad range of European and American techniques and methodologies. At the conclusion of their training, students will be prepared to work on a wide range of material and in a variety of venues.
